Why I Am Running for Trustee for the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board My name is Benoit Massé, and I am seeking election as a Trustee because I bring the experience, leadership, and commitment needed to strengthen our public education system and ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed. I am a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with a Master’s degree in Administration and 27 years of service in the federal public service. In my current role as Deputy Chief Financial Officer, I lead with a strong focus on accountability, sound governance, and measurable results. I am also a parent of a child at Elmdale Public School, and for the past two years I have been a member of the School Council. This direct involvement gives me a grounded understanding of the day-to-day realities facing students, parents, and educators.
